ColorGlide participates in paint stewardship programs as a Supplier/Manufacturer of Outreach Material Program Products in the form of a paint applicator tube and paint transfer pump (Set) used to extract the semi-filled paint can from the consumers possession.Incentives available to re-use architectual paint and dispose of paint cans
Stewardship programs are tasked with both an operational side and public outreach. However,, many existing outreach programs lack the requisite incentive to initiate action.
Because unused paint cans are obviously a common problem, a simple solution to this common problem is a valuable incentive to induce action. If a consumer is in possession of a problem solving device, one that normally costs a consumer $5-10, is an excellent action initiating incentive.
A typical consumer having kept a paint can for years is not likely to relinquish it without some reason to do so. Whether the reason for keeping the unused paint stems from lack or knowledge of ways to dispose of the unused paint, or if they wish to keep the paint for a later touchup is immaterial. They need an incentive as much as information.
The paint applicator tube and is an ideal solution to motivate action to dispose of unused paint cans.
ColorGlide works directly with PaintCare's paint retailers and outreach programs by suppling sets of paint applicator and paint transfer pumps for incentivizing painting contractors and the general public. Stewardship programs may now access Color-Glide products for outreach marketing materials as subsidized marketing material to complement other outreach materials like print, radio and e-media.
Stewardship programs and ColorGlide have common goals which is moving unused paint out of paint cans. The outreach program of providing information via literature, radio, newspaper, and television can be more effective if coupled with a call to action incentive. Because most people avoid extra work unless incentivized, ColorGlide® Pro products provide that incentive with paint applicator tubes and paint transfer pump kits.
The goal of a successful stewardship program is separating the target item from the item holder. In as paint stewardship program this means getting the paint transferred, used-up, or re-purposed.
If consumers are provided a simple solution to repackage their unused paint into a a smaller container, the stewardship progam benefits. The paint transfer process from the paint can to container must be easy to use and solve a ongoing problem; specifically, separating themselves from the unused paint in the paint can.
A paint applicator tube does not require a paint brush or a paint can. There is no no set-up and clean-up time. By taking all the hassles out of storing and touch-up painting people will gladly give up their unused paint and bulky paint cans. This resolves the challenges of the Paint Stewardship program in regard to public outreach support and post-consumer engagement.
Forget about drop cloths, blue tape, can openers, paint stir sticks, tray, paint brushes, paint thinner and shop towels! No need to wash any brushes and waste any water. Best of all, rid yourself of big bulky paint cans!
With Color-Glide® Pro paint applicator tubes there is no cleanup and paint can be stored for extended time periods, conveniently stored away for later use in a small area like a kitchen drawer.
The applicator paint tubes are a convenient long-term reminder of proper paint stewardship, a cornerstone of responsible paint use.
The lighweight low cast paint applicator tube system makes storage and use fast and easy. Simply fill the see-though tube with your own paint color with the included paint transfer pump. The applicator has a center hole to let paint flow onto the all-surface blending applicator with a squeeze. The applicator's special flocking blends the paint so there are no brush marks to show the touch-up. When finished, wipe or rinse the applicator, and replace the protective cap and store for later use.
Thousands of paint applicator tubes have been used for paint stewardship and millions of applicator tubes have been used worldwide for the clean and effect storage and applicaton of liquids. Currently paint applicator tubes are exclusively available by ColorGlide to the genral public at online retail locations like Amazon.com and Etsy and visible on social sites like Pinterest and Facebook.
